Turn on two-step verification

A six digit code from an authenticator app on top of your password. Required for anyone who signs records when the policy says so.

Steps

  1. Open Account, then Two-step verification. In the app: /account/mfa
  2. Scan the square code with an authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or any that does TOTP) and type the six digit code it shows.
  3. Save the recovery codes somewhere safe; each works once if you lose the phone.
  4. Administrators: require it by role under Admin, Security. The audit readiness check and AC 120-78 both expect it for anyone who signs. In the app: /admin/security
